Simple single-track audio player for escape rooms. Plays one audio file at a time on a single output.

mpd-control was the original audio solution for basic sound needs — a single speaker playing one file at a time. It has been replaced by **[[products:er-audio|er-audio]]**, which offers multi-channel playback, multiple simultaneous tracks, dynamic volume and panning control, and a much richer feature set.

mpd-control remains available for legacy installations, but all new deployments should use er-audio.
